Well Damn! This cycle is off to a GREAT start! If you read my last post, you see that I advised you guys not to increase calories for the first 2 weeks, then time that increase at the start of week 3 when you start your oral.
That’s exactly what I did. Stayed in diet mode, I didn’t lose or gain any weight on the scale. Week 3 I started my oral – Superdrol this time. And really mashed the gas on diet, and upped calories.
So now here it is 2 weeks past that point, and I’m up 10 POUNDS! Crazy. I’m right at 175 pounds now. Which is also mentally a sticking point for me. I just don’t feel “manly” below that weight. That’s like the magic number between teenager body and man body. For me.
So I am STOKED! to be there already. My first cycle that’s where I was at the peak, 12 or 15 weeks in. ….I think I did a 16 week’er on that one?
My waist has gone up from 33″ to 33 1/2″. But…. it did that like the first 2 days and stayed there.
That increase may be just that there’s more food in my stomach since I’m eating big before bed, as opposed to in diet mode when I was getting just enough calories and going to sleep.
Subjectively looking in the mirror, I look as lean or leaner. My belly button looks leanER. My obliques look like obliques not love handles. And my forearms are actually MORE veiny/vascular.
The stat I’m really stoked on is I added 1/2″ to my arms! That’s amazing.
I got fitted for a suit right before I started the cycle (DUMB timing) and chest was a 42″ That’s now a 43 1/2″
Strength is up across the board. Pre cycle it took me 5 weeks, to add weight to my Curls / biceps exercise. Last week, I got all the reps in 1 week and can add more this week.
Biceps have been by far the HARDEST area for me to grow. No matter what I do naturally, they just won’t budge. I have skinny little 14″ arms. (14 and a half now! Lol.) So to really lay strength and size on there in just 2 weeks is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with that.
My quads have blown up. I didn’t take any measurements, but my boxers have all gone from baggy to tight, and it’s obvious to me in the mirror.
If there’s a body part that’s lagging, it’s chest. But chest was decent going in, so I’m not too stressed about that. I also have totally thrashed my external rotators from years of surfing, so there’s not too many exercises I can even do for chest.
So. The big question is, why is this going so well? Is it the Superdrol this time instead of the dbol and M1T I’ve used in the past? Is it the Deca with the Testosterone this time instead of just Test? Or is it diet?
I think more than anything, it’s diet. I’m finally eating enough to GROW. In fact about 8 days in I started slipping, went back to some diet-down habits for some reason. Instead of 6 eggs I had 3 eggs/3 egg whites. I filled up on Veggies. And for a couple days the scale didn’t budge at all. It stayed locked in at 172.
I realized my error, and that I didn’t need to fear fat/calories. I righted the ship and increased calories, started having 6 whole eggs at breakfast and sure enough the scale starts moving again.
I think Superdrol is a FANTASTIC oral. But had I taken it and not bumped calories up it would have helped me recomp at best. Not lay 10 pounds on in 2 weeks.
By the way, YES you can still get superdrol. It’s the real deal. Different manufacturer, but the chemical is exactly the same. It has been re-released by GP – the same manufacturer I get all my gear from. You can find it here.
I had no sides with it at all until yesterday. I woke up with a little eye pain?? Like my EYEBALL was sore. And a headache. And the START of some lower back pain. I figured “Ok, the sides are starting, let’s be happy with the gains, and call it.”
Today starts week 5 of the Deca/Test. So I’m going to pull the plug on the superdrol and call it good enough. I don’t like to push my luck with orals.
I ran it 2 weeks. 20mg/day the first week and 30mg/day the second week. I think at the start of week 5 the Deca/Test should be starting to kick in anyway. My original plan was to run the oral 3 weeks till the start of week 6, but I’m adjusting to avoid sides. We’ll see how this week goes without the oral.
